Jamie's StoryAFTER 4 YEARS OF KNEE PAIN, JAMIE RAN 5K AGAIN.
Four years, that's how long knee pain had kept Jamie away from running.
What had once been a way to stay fit had become something he felt he could no longer do but Jamie wasn't just looking to improve his physical fitness. He wanted to feel better in himself, too.
Working alongside Luke and Callum, Jamie began a programme built around his individual goals, with encouragement, guidance and genuine support throughout and the changes went far beyond his knees.
Jamie noticed improvements in his physical wellbeing, his general mood and his mental state. He found himself surrounded by people who cared about his progress, not just his performance
Jamie completed his first 5K run in over four years, a milestone that meant far more than the distance itself. It was about returning to something he'd missed and discovering what was possible with the right support.
As Jamie puts it:
"No matter what your goals are I highly recommend Luke and the team to help your mind and your body get fit and active."
Pain doesn't always mean giving up the activities you love forever, with appropriate assessment, gradual strengthening and an individual approach, some people can build their capacity to return to activities they previously found difficult.
Progress isn't always about doing more, sometimes it's about getting back to doing what you love.
