Jen's StorySHE DIDN'T THINK SHE NEEDED A PERSONAL TRAINER, THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED.
Jen wasn't looking for a fitness transformation. In fact, she thought she was doing pretty well already.
After around 20 years away from regular exercise, Jen had rediscovered running and spent the previous year getting active again.
She enjoyed it, felt reasonably healthy and hadn't really considered working with a personal trainer but she was noticing some frustrating changes.
Losing weight seemed increasingly difficult, and the aches and pains she was experiencing were something she'd put down to getting older and hormonal changes.
When Jen started looking into personal training, it was actually for her husband, she went along to support him, hoping to pick up a little advice about her own weight loss along the way.
What she didn't realise was just how much she could benefit from coaching herself.
With Luke's guidance, Jen began building strength alongside her running and the results surprised her.
Jen has become noticeably stronger and significantly quicker with her running.
She's achieved multiple personal bests and says the aches and pains she previously experienced have disappeared but the improvements haven't just been physical.
She feels happier, more confident and excited about what her body can achieve.
The woman who initially went along simply to support her husband has discovered a whole new level of confidence in her own abilities.
Looking back, Jen admits she hadn't realised how valuable coaching could be until she experienced it.
"I didn't know I needed the support and Luke's advice until I got the support and Luke's advice."
For Jen, it's not just Luke's knowledge that makes the difference.
It's his genuine interest in his clients, his encouragement and the care he puts into helping them achieve their goals.
And although she's trained with Luke, Jen also appreciates the wider team and the supportive, down to earth approach behind Luke Jones Health & Fitness.
You don't have to be completely new to exercise to benefit from coaching.
Sometimes, you're already doing something you love, but the right guidance can help you become stronger, improve your performance and discover what else you're capable of.
For Jen, strength training has complemented her running, helped her feel more confident and opened the door to personal bests she hadn't expected.
And her advice?
"I absolutely would not hesitate in recommending them if you really want to invest in yourself!"
